Guide Review - Reflection Eternal - "In This World"
Talib Kweli, the rapping half of Reflection Eternal, starts off lamenting that passion is missing from the game ("It's that sh-t you're missing"). He then proceeds to show us just how to regain it. The recipe consists of "one-part pain & suffering, two-parts brains & hustlin''" sprinkled atop Hi-Tek's soulful production.
It's a beautiful reminder of why we fell in love with Reflection Eternal nearly a decade ago. I don't even mind that he's still flaunting that Jay-Z line like an insignia.
