Guide Review - Busta Rhymes - "Don't Touch Me (Throw da Water on 'Em)"

Breathless.

I imagine that's how Busta felt after spewing multi-syllabic bars at about 75 words/second on his latest single, "Don't Touch Me (Throw da Water on 'Em)." It signals a return to his lyrical form, while reminding us of the things that made Busta Bus a household name in the first place -- enthusiasm, energy, rage.

Accompanied by steady-rolling congas and glistening hi-hats, Bus delivers a swaggering jam that explodes into an energetic romp as soon as you press play. Not even an insipid hook can ruin this certified banger. Busta hasn't sounded this fierce since he went dread-less.
