The buzz around The Score was so tremendous that it eventually eclipsed the Fugees' first CD. Truth be told, it was a noticeably improved performance from their lackluster debut, Blunted on Reality. Interestingly, there was no shortage of incredible rap albums in 1996. Yet, The Score had little trouble sticking out from the pack.
