Masta Ace and DOOM have quietly completed a joint album. It's called MA Doom: Son of Yvonne. No, the masked one isn't rapping on it. The album features Ace on the mic and DOOM on the boards. Think J.Dilla and Madlib's collaborative album. Slight difference: JayLib had both artists rapping on each other's beat rhyming over beats from DOOM's Special Herbs series.
Ace confirmed the news on Twitter, adding that he's already finished and turned in the album. "Getting him on the album woulda been icing but the cake still good," he wrote.
The album is tentatively set for November.
