Wu Tang Clansman Method Man has been arrested in New York on felony charges for failing to pay his taxes. The 38-year-old rapper turned himself into authorities on Monday morning. Method Man allegedly owes the IRS $33,000 after failing to file a return or pay taxes from 2004 to 2007. If convicted, he could face up to four years in prison.

He owes $33K for 4 years, which averages a little over 8K a year. If he was making a ton of money (as most rappers claim), he would owe way more than that. The fact that he didn’t just pay the 33k proves he isn’t making too much money. I’m just a Soldier in the Army, and I could of paid that! He just had an album come out this year. I know most artists make their money from other business, and I would think Meth gets paid from Wu-Tang clothing at the very least. Whats the deal? P.S. – Method Man was never one to claim he was making a ton of money.
