Yung Joc in Troubled Waters

Friday December 28, 2007
Yung Joc, the rapper behind such hits as "It's Goin' Down" and "I Know You See It" has been arrested for allegedly taking a loaded semiautomatic handgun to an airport. Joc issued a statement yesterday saying that he respects the law and hopes to resolve the charge against him.
Joc, who was arrested last weekend at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, said: "I have the utmost respect for the laws of this country and would never deliberately commit an act that would jeopardize my freedom, my family, or my career."
He was released on $50,000 bond and is due back in court January 25. Joc faces a felony charge for carrying a concealed weapon. If convicted he could face up to 18 months behind bars. That would definitely give Joc plenty of time to work on his rhyming skills.
