Common Finds Forever in J Dilla

These days, I keep hearing from industry insiders that Lil' Wayne has been reluctant to unleash Tha Carter III because he's paranoid about matching the critical acclaim of his last disc, Tha Carter II. I can't help but feel the same way about Common and Finding Forever. The main distinction being that, every time Common drops an album in the summer (Finding Forever is due out July 10th) the outcome has always been stellar. Oh yeah, I'm supposed to tell you where Dilla fits in all this. Well, Common recently told Vibe.com that the album's title stemmed from the idea of Dilla attaining immortality through the music he left behind.
