Spotlight: Rob G is "Repping His Block" Right

Forget everything you've ever heard about Texas hip-hop: candypaint odes, codeine raps, gold teef rhymes, etc. Rob G is conveniently posted up on the other side of the candy cane movement. In fact, he somewhat challenged many of those stereotypes in his fairly controversial smash "Houston Got a Problem." Like fellow H-Town mouthpiece Chamillionaire, Rob G is inked to Universal Records where he expects to release his debut album.
