Poll Results: What's Your Favorite Hip-Hop Magazine?

Friday May 26, 2006
*Ding ding ding* The poll results are in. Based on the 755 votes received in one week, the overwhelming top choice for the #1 hip-hop mag is Scratch, which brought in 268 votes (35%). Scratch Magazine's sister rag, XXL, came in at 2nd position with 171 votes (22%). The third most preferred hip-hop magazine is Vibe with 100 votes (13%). No disrespect to Scratch or XXL, who are clearly on top of things in their respective journalistic endeavors, but, I have a feeling that if this poll was conducted 5 years ago, The Source would have had a better outing than 4th place.
    1) Scratch
    2) Elemental
    3) Vibe
    4) Ozone
    5) The Source
    6) URB
    7) XXL
    8) Other

Why does it say in the paragraph that XXL is 2nd, but in the votes, ELEMENTAL is 2nd?

It’s because the paragraph was written on May 26th and people have added more votes to the poll since then.
