Eminem and 50 Cent At Proof's Funeral

Eminem, who recently broke his silence on the recent murder of friend and mentor, Proof, had some nice things to say about the Detroit rapper at his funeral today. "Without Proof, there'd be no Eminem, no Slim Shady, no D-12," said Em. Among the over two thousand attendees were 50 Cent, members of the D-12 posse, Trick Trick, Dr. Dre, Xzibit, Naughty By Nature, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and a teary-eyed Obie Trice. Also, Kenneth Bender jr., the 35-yr old victim allegedly shot by Proof, was said to have died a week after the altercation. Bender's cousin, Mario Etheridge turned himself in after witnesses pointed him out as Proof's shooter, and was charged with the possession of a concealed weapon and discharge of a firearm in a building. Etheridge pleaded "not guilty" on both counts.
Proof is survived by his wife and five children.
