OFWGKTA
- I see how untalented rappers justifying their music with swag is wrong. However there are many out there, the first coming to mind being OF, that are full of talent skill AND swag.

Damn chips!
- When rappers use those damn annoying chipmunk voices...and what more in gangsta rap! Doesn't it creep anyone else out to hear a chipmunk asking how low can you go??

And The Oscar Goes To...
- I don't get why most rappers insist on going hollywood. Making more terrible movies or guest appearances than actual good music. One major exception mos def, a true renaissance man. There are more good rappers/actors but to much right now.

Agreed
- As a hip hop fan i agree completely with this list. Hip hop is an art movement that expressed the life of a subculture. But unfortunately as other forms of expressions they fade away due to greed or higher powers. Just ask punk fans of late 70's early 80's, how they feel of the punk movement today and the answer is unanimous, it's mostly lame. There are good artist out there who won't "sell out" for fame, who maintain integrity even if they're on mtv. But I most maintain that i view music as a mirror to society not vice versa, but artist should learn to take a stand against what is wrong and go back to using their talent as lyricist to help better the community, instead of helping it dig their own grave. It'll be a sad day but it's closing in when hip hop will have it's punk equivalents to good charlotte and simple plan. Hope for the best, expect the worst. Salud

Good List
- One problem I see with hip-hop is that it has become to mainstream for its own good. Today's artists are catering to fans who really don't understand or care about the history of hip-hop. They will always think that Lil Wayne or Drake are the best rappers alive, even though they really have nothing to base that on. They will never take the time to listen to Rakim or Wu-Tang and try to get some perspective. Of course I'm generalizing, but when you have 12 year old girls from the suburbs that think they know rap because they listen to Wayne, then I think that people might need reassess the genre. I'm hoping this ends up becoming more of a phase, sort of like what happened to rock in the 80s, and will eventually return to its roots, but honestly it would take something remarkable for the game to change now. There's to much money in it for anyone to want to change now.

Lil wayne
- Lil wayne is the worst thing that has happened to rap music since vanilla ice, anyone who thinks he is a good rapper i would recommend the cd still i rise from 2pac or ready to die from notorious so you can really understand what rap is

Long Live The Throwback
- Why the hate for throwback jerseys? Gotta rep my squad past and present.

Auto-Tune
- Well said... I even stopped buying music because of this... even African (South African) rappers/singers are now into this and they say we don't support them enough if we don't but their albums.

New One
- 1 I absolutely, positively hate hip hop’s movement to pop music!! It’s deplorable!! The rappers sit there recording these pop songs that are comparable to Miley Cyrus and then still try to maintain this “gangster persona”. I had so much respect for Ludacris, and then I see him doing a song with Justin Bieber!! That’s like Cannibus being featured on the Disney Channel!! All these rappers need to just listen to 36 Chambers or Illmatic and if they can’t top that then retire. 2 The dang reality tv shows (especially the washed up ones)!!!! Like if it’s a tribute to a rapper then fine! But do we really need to see MC Hammer’s mom trying to buy a house! Not so much.

agree and disagree
- i dont really have a problem with baggy jeans(if theyre too big yeah) or jerseys, but skinny jeans look bad and swag should die out quickly, auto tune is on its way out, lil wayne is too wack to be rappin at all, and the crazy jewelry needs to go (Daimond grills, huge chanins pimp cups, and daimond spinnin rim watches)

#11
- I could not agree with you more about #11. DJ's ruin so many bangers on mixtape's, e.g. J-Love on After You Die by Rakim

100% Accurate
- I agree with this list....excellent list man. Throwbacks suck, We dont need grillz, we dont need video whores, or autotune
- —Guest Mattjeezy
Wow this is tough
- Id say the directional dance songs, auto-tune, rappers with lil/young in the title, and the prerequisite lil' wayne feature are equally annoying to me. The nusic overload is also right behind. With this info u can pretty much tell what rappers are on my imaginary hitlist

Amen times infinity!
- 1... 2... and 4..... especially!!! Great list!! I definitely plan on reposting. It's scary how many idiots outnumber people that don't follow the herd.

- Over the past ten years, the need for hip-hop artist to flood every form of media showing off and talking about their many over priced purchases, have reached critical levals.we've had enough. Wr refuse to help you buy nicer cars and houses than ours, while you push it in our faces.
