2. Shawnna - Block Music
Blues singer Buddy Guy must be proud of his daughter right now. The Disturbing Tha Peace first lady debuted with 50,000 units of Block Music to clinch the #13 position on Billboard. Now she can finally get some.
3. Yung Joc - New Joc City
Joc-in' 3 slots up to #11 on the albums chart is P.Diddy's protégé. The ATL-ien arrived in New Joc City with 48,175 units at the end of the business week.
4. Tha Dogg Pound - Cali Iz Active
Snoop Dogg and his Dogg Pound cohorts' attempt to reactivate Cali only yields 29,480 scans for the reunion album.
5. Ice Cube - Laugh Now, Cry Later
Speaking of Snoop, his "Go To Church" collaboration with Ice Cube seems to have paid off for the former N.W.A. wordsmith. Cube moved 35,723 units of Laugh Now, Cry Later, bringing his total sales to 283,760 in just three weeks. Not bad for an independent release.
6. Ray Cash - Cash on Delivery
Ray Cash only managed to deliver 23,988 discs in his opening week. Even with a hit single featuring southern rap great Scarface ("Bumping My Music"), Ray still had a disappointing debut on #41.
7. Field Mob - Light Poles and Pine Trees
Field Mob swings all the way down to #32 with 27,122 copies of Light Poles and Pine Trees sold this week.
8. T.I. - King
T.I. shows no sign of letting up his throne, with 1,328,057 units of King sold to date. Tip moved an impressive 26,290 units at the end of the 7-day cycle.
9. Chamillionaire - The Sound of Revenge
Chamillionaire has now officially reached the million unit mark with The Sound of Revenge. Cham rides his way to #31 with 28,051 copies this week.
10. Various Artists - Hector Bambino "El Father" Present: Los Rompe Discotekas
Jay-Z dives into the reggaeton wave with his first major Roc-La-Familia release helmed by Hector Bambino. Los Rompe Discotekas debuted with 26,656 units.
