Beat Tape is a first for Babu. We're used to the Dilated Junky's ill techniques (he was the first DJ to win in the Scratching, Beat Juggling, and Team categories at the International Turntablist Federation battle), but this is his first outing as a full time producer. The 32-track disc plays like an actual beat tape--and, without a larynx in sight, apprentice emcees can even get their rhyming on.
