Some notable rap albums hitting stores in the month of July 2006 include Pharrell's long overdue solo debut In My Mind, the Boot Camp Clik's farewell record The Last Stand, and the Dead Prez-Outlawz collaboration Can't Sell Dope Forever. As always, release dates are subject to change.

This Grammy Award-winning producer attempts to create an album that'll showcase his diversified personality. In My Mind boasts seven rap songs and seven r & b songs from Skateboard P.
2. Rhymefest - Blue Collar
Release Date: July 11th, 2006
With a variety of styles ranging from confrontational and mischievous to goofy and humorous, Rhymefest is one of few emcees that can single-handedly hold down an entire album. Regardless, he brings Kanye West along for the ride on "Brand New" and "More," Mickey and Bump J on "Chicago Rillas", and the late Dirt McGirt on "Build Me Up."
3. Boot Camp Clik - The Last Stand
Release Date: July 18th, 2006
Straight out of Bucktown comes this reunion treat from BCC. Da Beatminerz, 9th Wonder, Pete Rock, Ill Mind, Large Professor, and Marco Polo all contribute to The Last Stand's soundscape.
4. Trae - Restless
Release Date: July 25th, 2006
Houston's new kid on the block brings a Screwed Up Click flavor to his Rap-A-Lot debut. Restless features Lil Keke, Bun B, Paul Wall, Z-Ro, Mya, Three-6-Mafia, and Young Noble.
5. Pastor Troy - Money and Power
Release Date: July 25th, 2006
Pastor Troy powers on with his dichotomous mix of street tales and religion on Money and Power.
6. Jurassic 5 - Feedback
Release Date: July 25th, 2006
Feedback--J 5's follow up to Power in Numbers--features collaborations with Dave Mathews Band, Scott Storch, and Salaam Remi. The crew decided to promote their latest album by touring their behinds off. We're talking about a tour schedule that has Jurassic 5 traveling to three dozen cities in conjunction with the X-Clan.
7. Dead Prez & The Outlawz - Can't Sell Dope Forever
Release Date: July 25th, 2006
2Pac protégés, The Outlawz, hooked up with Dead Prez to release a collaborative album on Affluent Records. That's four emcees for the price of one. The album title is a nod to the proverbial spiel on finding other means of financial breakthrough besides drug-dealing. Messy Marv and Layzie Bone are both expected to appear on Can't Sell Dope Forever.
8. Pimp C - Pimpalation
Release Date: July 25th, 2006
Pimp C, one half of the legendary southern rap duo known as UGK, claims to have penned thousands of songs while behind bars. So, picking songs for Pimpalation shouldn't be much of a problem.
9. Bone Crusher - Release the Beast
Release Date: July 18th, 2006
Fresh off his appearance in the movie "ATL," Atlanta-based rapper Bone Crusher is set to drop his sophomore LP, Release the Beast. Bone Crusher will also join the crew of VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club" in a bid to shed some pounds.
10. Lil' Flip - I Need Mine
Release Date: July 11th, 2006
Now that Lil' Flip has severed ties with Sony Music Group, where he had released two platinum-certified albums, it'll be interesting to see what changes he decides to make on I Need Mine. The double CD reportedly leaked on the internet prior to Flip's exit from Sony.
