Top 10 New Rap Albums - November 2012

Fifty percent of this month's list are full-length collaborations. We have: Wu-Tang and D-Block, Lil Fame and Termanology, Alchemist and Action Bronson, Apollo Brown and Guilty Simpson, 9th Wonder and Murs, and 9th Wonder and Buckshot. Plus, the usual solo fare.

Below, November's top 10 new rap albums.

10. Lil Fame & Termanology - 'Fizzyology'

A little backstory: Termanology originally conceived this project as a solo outing. The deal was that Term would rock the mic and Fame would hold down the production end. But halfway into the project, Fame ended up spitting on nearly every track. So they decided to make it a full-fledged collaboration. Fizzyology was born. They also ended up augmenting Fizzy's production with beats from DJ Premier, The Alchemist, and Statik Selektah.

7. 9th Wonder & Murs - 'The Final Adventure'

It's so hard to say goodbye, but that's what we'll be doing on November 13th when 9th Wonder and Murs conclude their eight-year, four-album run with The Final Adventure. With just one guest appearance (9th Wonder's protegee Rapsody), The Final Adventure gives fans a healthy dose of the NC-CA connection that brought us Murs 3:16 and Murray's Revenge.

6. Action Bronson - 'Rare Chandeliers'

Super producer Alchemist joins forces with "10 to Watch" finalist Action Bronson on Rare Chandeliers. The album is already getting tons of praise for its artwork, which is definitely a contender for Album Cover of the Year. On the music, Rare Chandeliers sports collaborations with Roc Marciano, Sean Price, and more. With Al supplying the beats and Bronsolini in rare form, Chandeliers has all the makings of a winner.

5. Saigon - 'Greatest Story Never Told 2: Bread and Circuses'

If you liked the first one, you'll love this one. Saigon serves up more of the cerebral rhymes and cohesive production that made Greatest Story Never Told a critics' favorite. "Blown Away," in which he shouts out martyrs, is particularly compelling.

3. Wu-Block

Two of the greatest rap crews, Wu-Tang Clan and D-Block, merge their soldiers for a full-length collaboration and...you know what, we'll just let Ghostface explain the concept: "This is a unique street album combination like carnation milk with oatmeal. And a dash of cinammon. We got killing on lock. It's like assisination day - nothing but darts being thrown. It's like Batman and Robin sh-t. It's real street sh*t for the fans. They've been thirstin' for this." That, my friends, is the best product description in the history of product descriptions
