Check out this month's best new hip-hop releases, from Styles P's Float to LL Cool J's Authentic.

10. Trek Life - 'Hometown Foreigner '

An underrated act in his own backyard, California's own Trek Life has reason to brag. After all, he came up with the likes of Evidence and Blu, and he's a competent lyricist in his own right. But Trek isn't one to sit and moan about being ignored. He's more focused on his place in today's west coast landscape. Just call him a Hometown Foreigner. Trek's latest project features yU, Hezekiah, and his longtime friend Oddisee.
