An undeniable masterpiece, The Marshall Mathers LP reinforced Eminem's status as a rapper to watch in the new millenium. The Grammys took notice. The album also enjoyed a generous showing on the chart, shooting to the top of Billboard 200 and sending three singles ("The Real Slim Shady," "The Way I Am," and "Stan") to the Hot 100 chart.
