Guide Review - Cam'ron - Killa Season (Asylum)

Looking to Cameron Giles for depth is like looking to Britney Spears for tips on how to nurse a baby in public. Although, it was his combination of street smart mentality and free-flowing rhymes that helped land Killa Cam on the rap map with S.D.E. and Confessions of Fire, any ounce of jewel left in him is placed on permanent moratorium throughout Killa Season.

Instead, lethargic concepts like the excruciatingly feeble Jay-Z diss, "Wet Wipes," and "I.B.S." ("Irritable Bowel Syndrome,") where he vivifies epic bouts with diarrhea (yuck!) are at the forefront of Cam's Killa campaign. For evidence of insipid delivery, look no further than "Get Your Gun," where he barely employs any element of rap: "That's my word word, I flip herb, birds, coke, crack, dope, smack, oh snap heard herb. Should talk in sign language, y'all don't deserve words." Actually, Cam will be saving the rest of us an ear-splitter by sticking to his threat to plug into mute mode.
