Kanye West's London Rant: "Suit & Tie," Grammys, Business People

By February 24, 2013

Follow me on:

Kanye West Rant #8,391 came Saturday night, at his Hammersmith Apollo concert in London. Ye kicked this one in the form of a freestyle, following his rendition of the Cruel Summer hit "Clique." The casualties: Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake's "Suit & Tie," the Grammy Awards, business people, rich rappers, and more.

See sample lyrics and video link below.

"Suit & Tie": "I got love for Hov, but I ain't f--kin' with that "Suit & Tie."

Grammys: "The Grammys can suck my d--k,"

Business People: "I hate business people...I hate when people get on the phone and ask me, 'How much shampoo can you sell with your face on it and sh-t?'"

Corporations: "So you can help me put on a better show, please, corporations? Can you please support me, please? Me, Kanye West? I swear I'm a nice n---a now. I swear I'll put the pink Polo back on."

The way I see it, Kanye's latest rant wasn't as much a takedown of peers who lost their own way as it was a reminder to himself (in his own unique fashion) to stay grounded. What do you think?
