Rapper The Game is feeling a bit nostalgic. 50 Cent's favorite frenemy has started an online petition to resurrect G-Unit. Game wants a reunion album with 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, and Young Buck.
On the site GUnitReunion.com, Game writes, "Is there a G Unit Reunion gonna happen in 2013??? Let's see how many signatures we get!" I'd like to be a fly on the wall the first time 50 Cent hears of Game's effort.
G-Unit released two albums and numerous solo projects. Their debut, Beg for Mercy, has been certified double-platinum by the RIAA. The follow-up, 2008's T.O.S: Terminate on Sight, flopped harder than Luis Suarez in the penalty box.
Has 50 Cent forgiven Game for his "G-Unot" campaign? Is the world ready for a G-Unit reunion? Game's manager thinks it's worth a shot. And many seem to agree with him. The petition site has garnered 11,000 signatures as of this writing.
Would you like to see the group back together?
