50 Cent Visited Remy Ma in Jail

By July 20, 2012

Follow me on:

Contrary to what you may have heard on Twitter, Remy Ma is not dead. She's very much alive. She is serving an eight-year bid for weapon possession among other things. The Bronx rapper has served five years so far. In that time, she's received letters and visits from several fans and peers, Keyshia Cole, Cuban Link and Papoose among them. 50 Cent stopped by to see her and even helped her appeal her case.

Says Ma in a recent interview with Hot 97 FM: "50 wrote me a great letter when I needed my appeal and I needed people to send letters and make sure that I have things set up so I could actually come home early," she told Hot 97's Paul Rosenberg.

Sadly, Remy Ma's Terror Squad comrade Fat Joe didn't bother to reach out. In fact, no one from TS has reached out or visited during her sentence. "Nobody, not Joe, not any member of the group, not the DJs, not the managers, not the A&Rs, not anybody from the entire squad has ever come to visit me, sent a letter, call anybody from my team, check on my son, anything."

Damn, that's sad.

Here's the Hot 97 interview in its entirety.

Was the weapons charge something that occurred when she was in the vicinity of TS?

This makes me think that TS had to remove themselves from the situation just like Diddy had to remove himself from the Shine situation….
