I waited awhile to review this album. I wanted to be ULTRAfair, for a number of reasons. Most of all, I wanted to love it. I liked it, but I didn't love it. Here's my take on Live from the Underground.

Agreed, well put.
I agree as well. At least it’s listenable so I didn’t waste my 10 bucks. Does anyone think that we should be content with his fantastic mixtapes and this album, and that he should try and make some joint projects with other artists (ugk, 8ball mjg, kendrick lamar etc). I really don’t see a lyrical future for artists like jay cole and big krit to be solo artists their content is not creative or diverse enough and is falling. Like am I crazy for thinking that if Krit focuses on only a few verses and beats, that he could make a southern version of The Chronic?
For us doesn’t make a difference, but if he used some of the songs released in previous mixtapes like most of rappers do in their debut album, he would have better reviews.
