OK, one more list. This one's all about mixtapes, what you call mixtapes. Of course, there are no actual mixtapes these days--you know, the stuff that comes on a tape and is actually mixed by a DJ. That term is constantly being redefined, much like the term "freestyle." Mixtape no longer means mixtape. Freestyle no longer means freestyle. Maybe someday we'll all wise up and ditch both completely. That's a conversation for another day. For now, here's your Top 10 Mixtapes of 2011.

Some real good tapes this year. Some good ones aint mentioned was Lloyd Banks Cold Corner 2, Fab’s The Soul Tape & in my opinion maybe the best was Jon Connor Season 2.

I think ‘The Original Dom Kennedy’ deserves a spot on the list. One of the few mixtapes from this year, or any for that matter, that I can listen to and enjoy without skipping any songs.
