Looks like were ending the year on a strong note…@Henry – I believe Common’s album is officially coming out on December 20 as well. He’s 4 for 4 with his tracks and Im betting my money it will be AOTY.

Blue Sky was great, but the other ones I havent felt that much.. plus No I.D hasnt been relevant for a while now, plus boom-bap isnt really appealing at the moment.

Z, if you think that Common’s album isn’t one the top 10 releases for December, you should stop listening to hip-hop.

No I.D hasn’t been relevant? Please…
Jay-Z – DOA
Rick Ross – Tears of Joy
WTT – Primetime
He produced Big Sean Finally Famous almost entirely. I don’t like it, but it as made for the radio.
He co-produced a lot of songs for BP3 and MBDTF.

i loved the roots album. It’s truly beautiful and masterly crafted. ‘Make My’ is one of the best songs of the year. No ID might be the most impressive producer in the game this year (only rivaled by Just Blaze). He’s done a lot of work, including the whole Cocaine 80s thing, not to mention he is the head man at Def Jam right now. I loved all 4 of the songs Common has come out with and I’m ready to pencil it for album of the year. The top three on the list are a toss up for me, I can’t wait to hear Jeezy’s new album, I’ve waited forever for it

Let me start by saying I loved How I Got Over. The mood of the record worked for me, and the lyrical themes were up my alley. Undun, however, just isn’t my thing. I was diggin the production (nothing mind blowing but solid), but the whole lyrical concept was kind of boring to me. It’s like… I get it. Inner city youth have it rough… ZzzZzzZzz
