Jay-Z and Kanye West debuted the new single from Watch the Throne. The song is dubbed "Otis" after the great Motown crooner. It sports a classic sample, some boastful rhymes, and plenty of screaming because of Illuminati. Listen below.

This song is beautiful. Makes me hungry for Watch the Throne.
What about the review?
Here’s a quick review for ya: Kanye uses a realllll soulful sample from Otis Redding and at times (to me at least) the sample distracts from the rhymes. Both Hov and Ye have some pretty braggart bars and Ye drops a pretty nice 2nd verse that starts with “I made ‘Jesus Walks’ I’m never going to hell, Couture level flow, it’s never going on sale”
I’d give it a 4/5, and maybe a 4.5/5 if the sample wasn’t so distracting
4/5 seems about right to me. But the song is still growing on me.
Soon come.
Now this is more like it, it’s nice to hear soul-sampling instead of the repetitive “lex luger” beats everyone be using.
anybody else refusing to listen to anything than shabazz palaces?
Black Up is fireeeeeeeee
Otis Redding recorded for Stax and Atlantic, not Motown! Big difference…
They going on tour after they drop the album, bout to be ill
