2010 is halfway gone. If you're a fan of the Lakers, soccer (sorry, futbol), or vuvuzelas, you've had a great year so far. As for me, I'm just happy that the music gods have smiled on hip-hop this year. For the first time in a long time, I had fun picking out the 10 best rap albums of the half-year. Check it out and let me know what you think. Here are the 10 Best Rap Albums of 2010 (So Far)

You got to hear Curren$y’s album. It’s incredible.

(5) Harry says:

I thought Curren$y’s album was quite mediocre and dull actually. Henry, have you heard PackFM’s album its really good and I’m glad you included Roc Marciano. To me thought the Roots album beats out Big Boi, but they’re both tight

(6) heflys says:

Roc Marciano became pretty dull the more I listened to it. His style of rap became pretty monotone after a while.

My #1 is How I Got Over and RE’s album second. I don’t feel too strongly for Sir Lucious… but overall good list.

(13) Juan says:

Recovery shouldn’t even be on the list. It’s one of Em’s worst albums. just check henry’s bi polar review. the review, not the rating.

(14) Juan says:

and I’m surprised no one in here has said Drake should be on this list. I’m not saying he should (because he shouldn’t be) but I’m just saying. Drake stans everywhere these days.

@ Chris S

I don’t know if you can call B.o.B.’s album “rap”. I loved it but I don’t think you can call it a rap album. It’s just of an eclectic album that it’s a little bit of everything.

@Josh

Well since Henry’s article was posted first ill give it to him of course it could be pure coincidence that they have the same top 6 since all of those albums deserved to be on the list i think

Nice list ….

Though my personal number 1 would be Rhyme Asylum’s Solitary Confinement ..

I’m not for the UK or anything, but if u listen to that album, you’ll be left jaw-dropped for sure !! Crazy raw lyricism …

Give it a spin, Henry ….
