The Return of Wu-Tang...Well, Sort Of

By , About.com Guide   January 11, 2010

Follow me on:

So, there's a new Wu-Tang single floating on the Internet. Don't get too excited, though. While "Clap 2010" features Raekwon, Ghostface, U-God, and Method Man and is being touted as new Wu, it's actually from a side project being helmed by longtime Clan collaborator Mathematics. As much as I'd like Wu-Tang to stop cluttering its semi-pristine catalog with middling side projects, it's always a delight to get a new treat every now and then. You'd think they'll be trying to channel all that energy towards an official group album. After all, there are those who contend Wu's spot in the Best Groups discussion (I have them at numero uno) solely on the basis that thin group catalog.

Listen to "Clap 2010" below.

…nice post…

…one thing though, Golden Arms only spits “Big S**t Thunder” twice on the song; I don’t think he should be credited as being featured (unless of course this is the unfinished product)…
