How exactly did Jay-Z get tangled up in a war of words with 50 Cent in the aftermath of Kanye's VMA outburst? For starters, Jay was constantly bombarded with questions about the incident. While Jay condemned Kanye's actions, he also pointed that 'Ye was driven to that point by his passion for music.
But Jay wasn't the only one caught in the middle of all that hoopla. 50 Cent was also asked to share his thoughts on the incident. Rather than offer his opinion, Fif seized the opportunity to reopen his lame feud with Kanye. "Kanye wouldn't have done that to me, 'cause I would've knocked him out," said 50.
When a UK radio host Trevor Nelson brought 50's comments to Jay-Z's attention, here's what Jay said: "I think he [Kanye] would have done it if it was 50 Cent. No one's scared of 50 Cent. I just want everyone to be clear, no one's scared of 50 Cent."
The media likes to play volleyball with these types of scenarios, so it's no surprise that Complex magazine recently asked 50 to respond to Jay's remarks. 50 stuck to his guns, and then fired some shots at Jay.
"If I was there and he did that to me we would have had an altercation," said 50. "It's clear. He [Kanye] would have avoided that, just being intelligent. The interviewer who asked [Jay-Z] about the Kanye situation made him feel like a punk. His presentation is really simple and you can't have both. You can't be gangster Jay from Marcy and be the good guy Jay-Z on Oprah. You just can't. They don't let you in. That's Mr. Knowles, he just got that pass. There ain't any tickets to an inauguration ball with niggas. If you're from the hood, you have that element or that aura around you, there's no tickets for you. It's "safe" people there. This is why those things are happening. This is why he has to convince the person that he's talking to he's not afraid of anyone."
I'm not sure how this one is going to end. A full-fledged battle between Jay and 50, perhaps?

Quite honestly all three of these guys suck. bp 3 and 808 and heartbreak were musical masterpieces, you have to admit. lyrically, Jay can still kill 50. kanye west, who often has ghostwriters and jacks a beat better than puffy ever did, does not deserve a mention at all for his lyrical ability. 50 says he created the mixtape, but he can’t rise above it; I know fans that still feel that his mixtapes were better than get rich or die trying.
I think people are separating themselves from 50 because he causes to many problems with other artist so he could never go to anyone and really ask them to jump on a track with him because he has so many beefs with rappers so people that was in his entourage want to reach out to other artist but can’t because he has beef with them so thats why game left and young buck and I don’t know what happened to mobb deep and M.O.P. they must have left to and Mase eventually left to he kicked Olivia out of the group so 50 has a lot of problems with the rap industry
