IRS Slaps Nas with $2.5 Million Tax Lien

Monday October 19, 2009

nasIn this week's episode of Rappers vs. IRS, Nas comes under fire for unpaid taxes. A copy of the federal tax lien obtained by TMZ shows that Nas owes a whopping $2,584,206.31 million in unpaid taxes and penalties between 2006 and 2007. What is it with celebrities and tax evasion? This certainly won't aid Nas' divorce battle with Kelis.

Dang. That’s a lot even for a rich celebrity. But i would think Nas doesn’t make as much money as other mainstream rappers.

Damn, but I think Nas gets more than the 150k a month he said before. If they are taxing him this much he probably makes more money than that.

Damnnn I hope he recovers from all this financial drama he’s been engulfed in lately. No artist has ever influenced me as much as Nasir Jones. Stay up man. Oh yea, and if the ability to push someone off the face of the Earth were possible, I’d def be lookin 4 Kelis’ milkshake…(hehe)?
