Video: Drake - "Best I Ever Had"

Thursday July 2, 2009
If you've been anywhere near a radio lately, you've probably come across Drake's monstrous single, "Best I Ever Had." The song, which appears on Drake's So Far Gone mixtape (yes, mixtape), climbed all the way to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, thus setting him up for an intense bidding war. According to various reports, the young Canadian MC/singer decided to sign with Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment. His album, Thank Me Later, is set to drop this fall. Here's the "Best I Ever Had" video, directed by Kanye West.

I am IMPRESSED by this video. It’s freakin’ hilarious, and delivers…well…the goods. Mad respect for Drizzy!

I’ve Been Hearing A Lot About Drake Lately. I Never Took The Time To Listen To Any Of His Joints Until Now, And Honestly I Don’t See The Big Deal. He Can Rap, He Sings Pretty Good And The Ladies Love Him (That’s What I Been Hearing) But He Just Doesn’t Appeal To Me (Cop Raekwon, Sep 8th). Good Luck To Him Though.

As For The Video, I Like The Girls (Especially The Stretching Scene), But All The Pep Talk And “You The Best” References Were Killing Me. I’m A Big Fan Of Kanye, But He Could Have Came Up With Something Better Than This.
