Eminem to Induct Run-DMC into Rock Hall

Saturday March 21, 2009

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is specially reserved for music royalty. So, who better to induct the Kings of Rock into the Hall of Fame than one of hip-hop's luminaries? Eminem, known to some as the King of Detroit, has been tapped to present the Queens trio with their award on April 4th, 2009.

Eminem joins veterans like Smokey Robinson, Jimmy Page, and the Rolling Stones' Ron Wood as presenters during the ceremony, slated for the Public Auditorium in Cleveland.

I can think of nobody better to induct Run-DMC into the R&R HoF than the rapper who remains relevant, respected, and recognizes greats have graced the mic before him.
