Hip-hop’s first biopic arrived this January with Notorious, a chronicle of the brief, yet legendary career of the Notorious B.I.G. a.k.a. Biggie Smalls. Interesting that you didn’t really like the performance of Luke, I’ve heard him getting the most hype for the movie. People have told me he did an amazing job.
This movie is amazing, not only did Derek kill it as Puffy, but Jamal played BIG so good I got chills! I’m a huge Biggie fan so I was gonna be extra hard on this movie, but I loved it! They did an amazing job and I totally recommend seeing this movie if your a Notorious fan or just a hip hop fan in general!
THIS MOVIE WAS AND WILL BE THE HIGHEST GRAMMY WON MOVIE OF 2009 AND UNTIL ?? NO ONE KNOWS… IT WAS A GREAT CAST! I WISH I HAD ENOUGH MONEY TO GO SEE IT EVERYDAY!! I really enjoyed the movie. I think it could have tried to answer the mystery around his death a little more, but then we’ve had so many documentaries that maybe a celebration of life was apt. Either was, Good Film !
