Jay-Z and Kanye Secretly Planning December Showdown?
Jay-Z and his protege Kanye West may be secretly plotting a December showdown. According to DJ Semtex, Kanye's yet-to-be-titled 4th album will arrive before the end of 2008. The first single is a song dubbed "Love Lockdown," which West premiered at a recent concert.
Semtex has been dead on with his past predictions, so he probably knows what he's talking about this time. MTV News has confirmed that Kanye will officially release "Love Lockdown" as a single on September 8th.
Jay-Z, on the other hand, is said to be putting finishing touches on his final Def Jam album, The Blueprint III. Led by the Kanye-produced single "Jockin' Jay-Z," the 3rd installment of Jay's Blueprint series is also expected to arrive in December.
With Blueprint III arriving in December and Kanye possibly releasing his 4th album the same month, hip-hop may be in for an exciting Christmas.
