Top 10 Rap Albums of 2008 (So Far)

Phew! What an exciting year it's been for hip-hop thus far. We've seen a wide variety of great rap albums between January and June. And with Nas, The Game, and Common still slated to drop albums in the coming months, narrowing things down to the best may prove a challenge come December. As we approach the midway mark, it's a perfect time to rewind the past 6 months and take inventory of the top rap albums of 2008 so far. Did your favorite albums make the list?

Surprised to see Tha Carter III not make the list. I know you weren’t particularly fond of it, but it’s the best selling rap album since The Massacre.
I know sales don’t make an album great, but I do find it funny that most the big wigs in the industry LOVE the album, and so many people hate on it at the same time.
Of course the big wigs love TC3. They’re making major bank off of it.
Other singers and artists are making bank off of C3? How so?

C3 isn’t on there because it is not that good. I’ll admit im not a huge Wayne fan, but i do have the CD. I like half of the songs…the other half i cant even listen to they are seriously that bad. Off of that list i have Seeing sounds, Tha Formula, Rising Down, Absolute Value, The show, 2 trill, and When life gives you lemons and each one of them is better than C3.
Im so happy u atmosphere at #1
