Shaq Slapped by Sheriff for Rap About Kobe
To hip-hop fans, he's rapper Shaq Fu; To Phoenix Suns fans, he's the Big Cactus; To Maricopa County police department, he's now former special deputy Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq was stripped of his special deputy’s badge because of language he used in a rap video that ridicules former LA teammate Kobe Bryant.
In an attempt to resuscitate his fallen rap career, Shaq took aim at his estranged teammate: "Tell me how I be/Last week Kobe couldn't do without me." He also blamed Bryant for ruining his marriage and posed the now infamous question, "Kobe, tell me how my a** tastes."
"I was freestyling. That’s all. It was all done in fun. Nothing serious whatsoever," O’Neal later told ESPN.com. On Wednesday, Shaq was also ejected from Virginia's Bedford County department where he was made a reserve deputy in 2004.
