The catchy, vocoder-aided single jumped from No.2 to No.1 this week, earning Weezy his first ever chart-topping single. According to Billboard.com, "Lollipop"'s ascension to the peak spot was fueled by 183,000 downloads. That's pretty remarkable, especially for a song that could come up in the discussion for most annoying rap singles of 2008. Hopefully, though, this will prompt Weezy's label to stop playing ping pong with Tha Carter III's release date.
