Well, we know all about Atmosphere's newfound reputation for coining incredibly long album titles. What else is new? How about this: It's only April and latest effort is already in the running for Rap Album of the Year. I'll explain. Here's my take on When Life Gives You Lemons.

i’ve only heard a few songs, but imma listen to your review, this might be the album that jump starts ‘08, o ya and nas’ new song came out, graeat song, can’t wait for his albbum, and the roots almost out too! damn, imma go get this album right now.

AMAZING album. Great review, I totally agree with you. Slug is finally sounding less angry as a lyricist, and seems for comfortable with himself; I’m really liking the change. The production from Ant is just amazing. Sometimes in the past not all of his experiments have worked, but on this album he threw so many surprises at us and pretty much all of them worked beautifully.
I know most people will probably disagree, but I think this just might be Atmosphere’s best album to date.
I never heard about Atmosphere (but thats probably because I’m from Belgium and we barely have a hip-hop scene here, most Belgian people only know the commercial stuff) but this album is really great, I can’t stop listening to it.
