So, the first thing Khia did after being eliminated from
Miss Rap Supreme was to lash out at the show's hosts Serch and Yoyo, as well as the other contestants (with the exception of
Nicky2States,
Rece Steele, and
Byata), via the comedy portal that is her Myspace blog. Khia boasts of having sold more records than both Serch and Yoyo. She also claims that her real intent was to utilize the Vh1 show as a promotional tool for her rap career.
"VH1 put my face in millions of homes," she writes. "I used VH1 to promote myself and my music!!! What part of that don’t you people understand? That was my plan from the beginning, not cheating but winning (stupid *expletive*)"
Well, I hope Khia understands why everyone sees her as a one-hit wonder. Her 2002 hit "My Neck, My Back" was just that -- a club smash that enjoyed an ephemeral run and then fell off. At least Yoyo and Serch had full-fledged careers at a time when quality was the order of the day.
