Ludacris to Perform at Super Bowl Event

Rock & Roll icons Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers will deliver the halftime entertainment at Super Bowl XLII, but a couple of hip-hoppers will get a piece of the action as well. Ludacris, who's been mentioned among candidates for the Def Jam presidency, will perform at a Super Bowl gala on February 1, two days before the main event. Teen rap sensation Soulja Boy is also on board for another event sponsored by ESPN on February 2.
