Lil Kim Kisses Atlantic Goodbye

Tuesday January 22, 2008

Lil Kim is ready for a fresh start, after eleven tumultuous years and four solid albums on Atlantic Records. Kim made the announcement on the heels of her upcoming fifth solo effort, which she says will be released independently.

Word on the street is that she's considering Capitol Music Group's independent division, Imperial Records, as her next home. As long as she can reignite the spark that made her a formidable force in the 90s, I'm sure fans won't care if she decides to drop her album on Tooth Fairy Records.
