Slim-Fast for Slim Shady?

Friday January 18, 2008

Eminem already has a handful of roles as a producer, MC, businessman, and ghostwriter. Can he handle another job as an ambassador for a weight-loss program? Slim-Fast thinks he can. Having heard about Eminem's weight problems, the dietitians at Slim-Fast decided to offer him their assistance.

"Slim-Fast is a program that can really work for someone like Eminem; it's a doable and flexible approach," said a spokesperson for the company in an interview with OK!. "Slim-fast would love to offer Eminem product and assistance to help him become a potential S-F success story."

They even have a personalized Slim Fast program that will allow Eminem to get back to being Slim Shady again. It'll be interesting if Em takes them up on their offer, but you know that's never going to happen.

i love em. he’s my favorite rapper. i just bought the 8 Mile soundtrack and it’s my fav cd ever. I know it’s not the best ever, but it has em, 50, jay-z, nas and rakim all in one. what more can you ask for? as for em’s weight problems, i home he sheds some pounds and comes out with some great stuff.

I am so sure! Could you imagine what this would do to his image? He’s edgy all right, but not enough to speak for women who he vehimately puts down in all his music. Slimfast is a women’s diet aid & men who drink it to loose weight sure as Hell don’t advertise it!!! Hello!!??!!

I am a fan, but hey leave the guy alone. He’s a person that has problems like all of us. FYI: Don’t use Slimfast, I heard it just gives you the runs.

i have trouble believing slimfast would really go through with this, its hard for companies to do stuff with rappers, esp ones that could cause controversy. we all remember pepsi, luda and bill o’reilly. he may not have done anything to draw attention to himself lately, but ppl will always remember him for statements and actions in the late 90s
