50 Cent, Timbaland, Wyclef Cited in Steroids Probe

Monday January 14, 2008

Next time you hear about the pervasive use of steroids by celebrities, it may not be the names of baseball players that come up. A New York-based steroid investigation, launched last year by Albany, NY District Attorney P. David Soares, found that steroid usage transcends the sports field. The report claims that rappers 50 Cent and Wyclef Jean, music producer Timbaland, and singer Mary J. Blige may have received or used steroids. Blige was the first to respond to the investigation. She blasted the report, saying she has never used performance-enhancing drugs. But Blige and others have nothing to worry about for now. According to law enforcement officials, there's no evidence indicating that the named artists broke the law. Instead, the investigation is focusing on the medical practitioners (doctors, pharmacists) that supplied the drugs.

The investigation should also focus on the label heads who may or may not have convinced or forced their artists to juice up…

Because im a Mary J Blige fan, I have tried to follow her career. I havent noticed any change in her at all that would even suggest steroids or any other growth hormone…50 Cent and Timbaland…not shocking at all. But hey, you never know. But one thing is for sure, by them taking whatever it was…it didnt make them sing or rap better than before. They should stick to sports, because that could very well equal cheating. They’ve taking Marion Jones awards for taking steroids. Dig alittle deeper and there’s no telling who else will be giving up rings and trophies.

I KNEW 50 AND TIMBALAND USED STEROIDS!!! LMAO …what about Dre, he look like he been takin some lately… but really, why are they caring? i mean it’s big, but first get baseball players, and other sport athletes for using steroids, THEN you can focus on people who use steroids for no particular reason… i mean it’s not like steroids is helping them cheat,i don’t know why they even wasted money on this, when there’s WAAAAY more importnant things

Hmm steroids huh. let me think, so 50 and Tim are juiced out, but that didn’t influence the Grammy Awards or did it ? lol

So long as they are not cheating who cares. It’s their choice and when the side effects begin to show, they have the money to deal with it.

Can’t we just focus on more important issues troubling our world ? Jeez, for rappers steroids usage to get national attention tells a lot about how foolish our society has become. We can’t put our priorities straight.

LORD HAVE MERCY !! i bet the next big thing to make the news will be which starts don’t shave their armpits.
