Lil Kim Applauds Female Rappers...well, Except Remy Ma
The ladies in hip-hop are rarely idolized like their male counterparts, but Lil Kim is determined to change that with her new mixtape, Ms. G.O.A.T. (G.O.A.T is a prominent hip-hop acronym for the Greatest of All Time.) Kim pays homage to all the notable female MCs, With the exception of Remy Ma, on the upcoming mixtape. She told MTV News that the CD features her takes on a variety of rap songs by female artists, including a remix of Lauryn Hill's "Lost Ones" and a freestyle over Lady of Rage's "Afro Puffs."
Though Kim's mixtape is a semi-tribute to female rappers, there's one artist you won't find her singing praises about: Remy Ma. If you're familiar with the word "beef," then you already know where this is heading. The Queen Bee takes a few shots at Remy over the beat of 50 Cent's "I Get Money." Apparently, the two have had a long-running feud. I'm not sure whether they're feuding over titles or weaves, but I do know that they're focusing their energy on the wrong issue. Instead of spewing hatred, they should work on uplifting each other and moving the game forward.

Lil Kim is the best female rapper period, she put out the blueprint for other female rappers like eve, foxybrown, trina, and etc. Remy Ma tries to act to hard, and she can’t sell records. She only has like one hit song. Plus, Remy Ma isn’t easy on the eyes. LOL

Lil Kim truly made a blueprint for female rappers & no Trina or Remy Ma didn’t make it better. They don’t have many classics like she does. Don’t have multiracial fans like she does. Don’t work with hot music stars like Christina Aguilera, PCD, and Britney Spears, etc. as she does. They haven’t been prison and was still selling like she has & they didn’t have a show that gave BET the most viewers in history like she did. They haven’t been back from prison and did a hit collaboration, still about to drop a mixed tape, and an album in 2008 like she is doing. Lil Kim has more classics than other females. Lil Kim has always been at the top of the game. Lil Kim works w/ some of the hottest music stars like Christina Aguilera, PCD, and Britney Spears; etc. Lil Kim made the blueprint for many female rappers. Lil Kim was at the top before jail & is still at the top better than any other female rapper & even some males. She bounced back f/ jail was a judge for the next PCD. She did a hit, she is about to drop a mixed tape, and will drop an albun in ‘08. Don’t hate on Lil Kim.

I respect Lil kim because shes successful and she came thus far. I respect her opinion but I have my own. LYRICISM. I’m not saying kim cant rap becaus eI be listenin to them & I believe and hope she writes her own lyrics but my girl remy the bx savior and QUEEN OF NY is on a lil vacation for some years…… people say KIM is the best because she’s been in the public eye most of the time and REMY MA is not.. they both can spit is what I say..
