Evel Knievel Makes Nice with Kanye West
Kanye West and Robert "Evel" Knievel have amicably resolved and dismissed the case, dubbed Knievel and K and K Promotions, Inc. v. West, Roc-A-Fella Records, LLC, Chris Milk and AOL LLC, in connection with Mr. West's "Touch the Sky" video. West and Knievel recently met at Knievel's home in Tampa, Florida to bury the hatchet, as pictured here in a photo released by Def Jam.
The daredevil had expressed that he was not pleased to see the "Evel Kanyevel" parody in Ye's "Touch the Sky" music video, which featured actresses Pamela Anderson, Nia Long, and Tracee Ellis Ross. The 69-year-old claimed back then that the video was "vulgar and offensive," and damaged his reputation. Knievel had said in his suit West used his trademarked image without permission to "promote his filth to the world."
After a private meeting at Knievel's house, Knievel seems to have changed his opinion of Kanye West, now calling him "a wonderful guy and quite a gentleman." Pure proof that you shouldn't judge hip-hop artists from a distance.

“pure proof that you should never judge hip-hop artists from a distance”. that’s exactly right. Especially not West, a born again Christian. However, even if he wasn’t a Christian. We shouldn’t be judging him anyway, or anyone else for that matter. Well said Henry.
If anything, Kanye’s “Touch the Sky” gave Evel Knievel some shine that he hasn’t had in years.
Damn, according to CNN, Evil just died.
R.I.P. then.
