VH1 recognizes various hip-hop icons and pioneers every year. This year's honorees include: Snoop Dogg, Teddy Riley (pictured here with Snoop), Missy Elliott, and A Tribe Called Quest. Damn I must’ve missed it…Overall it seemed like a good show…but where’s people Like Nas and Fat Joe and Jeezy?!…and WAYNE?!
Lets start a thread where we discuss some people how need to be honored. What about artist such as Marley Marl, Heavy D., E-40, Too Short, Geto Boyz, 2 Live Crew, Queen Latifah, Hammer, etc.
What about the Scarface and the Geto Boyz. Scarface has never been honored for rap period. What about First Grammy winner Will Smith. What about first female platium artist Tha Brat and the list goes on WOW!!!!

Well if you guys were avid hip hop honors watchers you wld know that they have already honored many founder father’s and mic rockers of hip hop…this is not the first show…its been around for a few years now…plus hip hop is soooooo versitile who can honor over 100 people in one hour!
Really enjoyed the show. I almost got high off watchin so many legends on one stage man! was tite as hell.. & brought back a lotta memories!
