CD Review: Chamillionaire's Ultimate Victory

Wednesday September 19, 2007

Are you sick and tired of 50 Cent and Kanye West? If you answered in the affirmative, then take some time out of your busy schedule and get familiar with this other album by this guy named Chamillionaire (I'm sure you've heard of him). It's called Ultimate Victory.

(3) Ryan says:

I agree with Chris. And although we all know the Grammy’s love Kanye, Cham might be able to sneak up and take the hip-hop album of the year.

Shannon: Thanks again. ;-D
Chris: Thanks. IMO it’s not necessarily better than Graduation, but it’s definitely a worthier opponent to it than Curtis. Duh. lol…
Ryan: Hey, if Luda did it last year, I don’t leave ANYONE out of the running.. lol

I was not going to buy the album until I saw this review….so I went out and bought it. Great CD even the guest appearances sound more artistic. Chamillionaire’s lyrical content is right on and his delivery is flawless. Wasnt a fan until now. Great review and great CD I must purchase Sound of Revenge now.

(9) Blue says:

definitely if you’re unfamiliar with “koopa” until now i would also suggest looking into his mixtapes, especially the Mixtape Messiah series, He’s been the most gifted lyricist in the game for years now in my opinion, so i love seeing him finally getting his due

(10) Don says:

Very creative with the flow of his album. Lyrics were on point and content was amazing. I was so impressed with not only the album but his love for hip hop music that I cop the album twice in support. We need to make a stand in hip hop for good artis that are in it for the love of the music not just a paycheck. Oh, reaching out to Slick Rick was a classic move IMO.

(11) Pat says:

Yea, Cham has been around for a while. Like Blue said, his mixtape messiah series are great, “Get ya Mind Correct” with paul wall was a great album as well. I hate when people said that he was a one hit wonder with ridin dirty cause he’s been sick for a while now and its about time he got his due.
