Shots Fired: Cassidy vs. 50 Cent?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the similarities in concept and production between 50 Cent's "I Get Money" and Cassidy's "I'm a Hustla." The drums on 50's new single sound like they were xeroxed from the Swizz Beatz-laced "I'm a Hustla." In fact, Cassidy took it upon himself to highlight this point by rhyming over the "I Get Money" instrumental.
He even plays a sample of "I'm a Hustla," at the end of his freestyle, to silence doubting Thomases. Is Cassidy somehow challenging 50 to a battle? Or is this merely a publicity stunt by Cass, whose new album, The Barry Adrien Reese Story(B.A.R.S.), is set for early October?

50 doesnt care if he wins or loses, starting beef right before albums has been proven to help his sales. Its just a formula now, 50 starts a beef, makes a song that is a sleazy metaphor for sex, release it as a single. But really 50 didnt seem to start it here, just kinda swagger jacked him a lil
is anyone else as sick of beefs as i am?? besides a few good diss tracks by various artists, beefs are bad for rap. they side track the artists from there careers and feed the belief of hip hop haters that rap promotes conflict (which is untrue). beefs need to stop
I agree James I can’t stand all the beef between rappers and I’m getin’ pretty damn sick & tired of it all. I don’t care who has beef with who, I just like good music by any rapper.
“Beef” is an inevitable unavoidable situation anytime you have individuals try’n to stake their claim as the top dogg…but what we define as “Beef” in Hip Hop is nothing more then(majority of the time)competition…So on that note “Beef” can be o.k. Where “Beef” becomes a problem is when it takes the focus off the MUSIC(cuz it’s all about the music). So you might be able to sell an album or two by Beefing w/any & everybody but you can’t have a long successful career as a musician if your claim to fame is “Beef”. And at the end of the day being successful is the only thing that truly matters.YES SIR!!!
