Remy Ma Arrested for Attempted Murder
New York rapper Remy Ma Remy Ma was arrested by New York Police on charges of attempted murder. The erstwhile Terror Squad member allegedly shot a 23 year old member of her own entourage with whom she had an altercation at a New York city night club. The argument supposedly spilled onto the streets, where Remy Ma is said to have pulled out a gun and shot the woman in the abdomen.
Remy Ma is a protege of the late Big Pun. The Bronx native is scheduled to release her sophomore album, The BX Files, on August 28th via Sure Shot Recordings.
No word on what the fight was about, but the victim is said to be in stable condition. Obviously, Remy is on the run. We'll keep you posted.Update: According to several sources, including Billboard.com and the New York Daily News, Remy Ma has now been arrested and arraigned on charges of attempted murder and other counts. She pleaded 'not guilty' to the charges. A $250,000 bail was also set at her arraignment.

Good, timely coverage on an unfortunate topic. According to MSN.com, Remy Ma turned herself in Saturday night, pleaded not guilty and has been arraigned with a bail set at $250,000. Nonetheless, you did a good job reporting very quickly using multiple sources.
