KRS-One's Step-Son Commits Suicide
What started as a wild rumor has now turned into tragic truth. Rapper KRS-One's step-son, Randy Hubbard Parker, has been confirmed dead. Parker, who worked as a graphic designer before his passing, was found dead in his Atlanta apartment last weekend. The Fulton County Atlanta Medical Center cites suicided as the cause of death. Simone G. Parker, KRS-One's wife and Randy Parker's mother, names depression as the motivating cause of her 23-year old son's death.
Randy Parker was was job-hunting in the graphic design and fashion field in Atlanta, Georgia, prior to his death. A private memorial service has been set for July 18, 2007 (the day that would've been his 24th Birthday) in Florida. A New York memorial service will follow in August. KRS-One's step-son, Randy Parker, is the second hip-hop related figure to be associated with suicide this year. In January, producer Disco D committed suicide in his apartment.

I knew Randy. I received this news via email a few days ago and was as shocked then as I still am today. I just can’t believe this news.
My heart and thoughts have been with and remain with Kris, Nardo and the whole family at this time.

I would like to send my deepest condolences. Death is never easy and I feel your pain. I lost a cousin to suicide in April of this year. He passed away in his college dorm. I’m still trying to comprhend this. Keep your head up!
