Kanye West's Porn Past Addressed in Raising Kanye
My mom would probably kill me if she caught me poring over pages of Playboy or Penthouse as a teenager. Turns out Kanye's mom is no different. Dr. Donda West, author of the new tell-all Raising Kanye, disclosed that she punished Kanye for looking at porn magazines and videos as a youngster.
Donda recalls that the prolific producer/MC even took pornographic magazines to school and passed them around. "I'll never forget the day he took the X-rated magazine to school and was passing it around for the other boys to see," recalls Dr. West, "and the teacher caught him. When she asked him where he'd gotten the magazine, he said, 'From my mother's closet!' . . . Before I knew it, I'd lost my temper and smacked him across the face." And that was not the only time he was caught. Donda recalls finding a porn tape belonging to her son in the family's video player, according to the NY Daily News.
She added, "It was triple-X-rated and I was mad as hell. I required him to do a full-blown research paper complete with footnotes and bibliography . . . 'The Impact of Watching X-rated Movies on a Teen-age Boy'. Until he finished the paper to my satisfaction, there was to be no television, no going to play basketball, no friends over."
Raising Kanye is slated for release on Mother's Day.

I agree that Kanye West is easy on the eyes but the fact that he has an obsession with porn,makes me quetion his moral position as a role model. I believe the book will be quite interesting but I fell it just another one hit wonder book with no depth. I would like to read the book but I doubt that it will suit my taste.
i adore kanye soooooooo much hes my faverit music artist. standard!! and to hear that he has lost a loved one is horrible especially the fact that it was his mother, the one that raised him and supported him all his life. kanye keep ur head up and be strong bcoz thats wat ur mother would want u 2 do. i respect kanye loadz and wish him luck on his marriage and maybe having kids in the future. kanye has made an impact on my life ina great way with his lyrics and his personality.
